Adv. (CPA) Avi Gera is a senior partner at Balter, Guth, Aloni & Co.  Adv. (CPA) Gera serves as head of the firm’s Commercial Law and Tax Department.  Adv. (CPA) Gera has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of law, taxes and accounting.

Adv. (CPA) Gera is a well-known expert in tax and commercial law who advises leading companies in their sector of the economy in many varied areas, including conducting transactions, tax planning, and creative solutions of complex commercial issues.

Adv. (CPA) Gera’s uniqueness comes to the fore in his multi-disciplined approach and his expertise in a broad variety of legal fields through combining his tremendous business experience.

Adv. (CPA) Gera, among other things, served as a Hebrew University faculty member in the Economics and Accounting Department.  In addition, he served as an economic consultant to the accounting firm of Somekh Chaikin & Co. (KPMG) and Prof. Yitzhak Suari, and was a senior partner in the Rosenzweig, Shifran, Gera & Co. law firm.

Adv. (CPA) Gera counsels business clients on an ongoing basis, including with regard to various agreements and transactions, both in Israel and internationally, including complicated real estate transactions.  Within the framework of his practice, Adv. (CPA) Gera represents multinational corporations, such as Johnson& Johnson, Gulfstream Aerospace of the General Dynamics Group, as well as Israeli companies having local and international activities, such as Arkia, the Go2 Mobility Group (Car2Go) and the Nakash Group.

Adv. (CPA) Gera received his LL.B. from Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and also has a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from Hebrew University and an M.A. cum laude in finance from Hebrew University.

Adv. (CPA) Gera also is a licensed C.P.A. and a member of the Israeli Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Adv. (CPA) Gera served as a Major in the IDF reserves.
