David has a unique and rare expertise in representing religious Orders, and he is the firm’s partner responsible for this field.

David has more than 30 years of invaluable experience representing various Christian religious institutions in Israel, where his experience was acquired starting from when he was a student and an intern in the law firm of the late Avraham Socovolski.

Within the framework of his practice, David helps the members of the religious Orders administer the institutions’ properties (including lands having a scope of hundreds of thousands of dunams), accompanies complex construction projects having a scope of hundreds of millions of shekels, is involved in unique and fascinating real estate transactions, in formulating unique tax arrangements for religious institutions, including handling international treaties, and representation in the various judicial tribunals.

David is familiar with, and has a deep knowledge of, all the areas of activities of the religious institutions in Israel and the world, and that, alongside a deep and broad understanding of land law, and these provide him with the ability to give dedicated and excellent service and accompaniment to the religious institutions, starting with routine projects and ending with complex projects.  David’s rich experience in handling the various religious Orders, alongside his treatment of a variety of legal aspects, allows him to provide the institutions with creative solutions while seeing their entire needs and wishes.

One of the ambassadors of the Holy See (the Vatican) in Israel, whom David represents, blessed him that there should be fulfilled in him the verse from the Book of Leviticus – “The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt.” (Leviticus 19, 34).

Among the firm’s clients that David represents are the Catholic Churches; the Orthodox Churches; Evangelical Churches; and Baptist Churches.

David received his LL.B. and an LL.M. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
