Adv. Ehud Guth is a founding partner and is the head of the Jerusalem Branch.

Ehud founded the firm in 1974 together with Adv. Moshe Balter.

The two became acquainted during their military service and became friends.  This friendship continued also during their university studies.  Ehud studied economics and statistics and Balter law, and already as students they became partners in various businesses, among other things producing a movie and community events.

Upon completion of his economics studies, Ehud worked as an economics reporter in the “Maariv” newspaper, while simultaneously studying law.  When he finished his internship. The two decided to open the firm.

Ehud is one of the most senior and outstanding attorneys in the Israeli marketplace, and he accompanied, represented, and even served as an arbitrator in some of the biggest and highly mentioned legal issues and cases in Israel, and he leaves a trail of material court rulings and precedents.

Ehud is a sharp and decisive lawyer who represents large commercial cases, insurance and tort cases, cooperative society and real estate cases.  His clients include the largest Catholic Orders in Israel, the biggest insurance companies, contractors, institutional entities, cities and Israeli and foreign companies.

In the past, Ehud served in a variety of public positions, including as a judge in the Israeli Bar Association’s National Disciplinary Court, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Israeli Attorneys’ Retirement Fund, and Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Interdisciplinary Arena.

Over the years, dozens of lawyers have worked with Ehud, and some of them have even become senior and well-known judges.  While building the firm, Ehud emphasized the professionalism of the attorneys and the quality of the service to the clients.  Besides these two things, he attributed, and still attributes, no less importance to the friendly quality of the people and the good family relations among the entire firm.  He places great weight on people’s good feeling and the sense of creation that beats in them when they come to work each morning.

Ehud has an exceptional ability to listen, a characteristic that also contributes to his work, as well as providing a response to clients, and friendship and closeness among the members of the firm.

Ehud received a bachelor’s degree in economics and statistics, as well as an LL.B. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Ehud was admitted to the Israel Bar in 1974 and to the Bar of the State of New York in 1988.
