Adv. Peleg Elimelech is an expert in the fields of planning and zoning, expropriation, land and litigation.

Peleg was an intern in the firm and in 2013 he joined the firm as a partner.

Peleg represents the firm’s clients in various judicial tribunals in actions filed in the High Court of Justice and to the Administrative Court and in civil actions, including in the field of compensation for expropriation, usage fees, eviction and more.

Likewise, Peleg specializes in representation in the field of claims for a decrease in value as a result of the approval of plans (claims pursuant to Section 197 of the Planning and Building Law – 1965) and matters involving the Land Betterment Tax, including representation before Appellate Committees for compensation and the Land Betterment Tax.

In addition, Peleg represents expropriating entities before the Exceptions Committee that was established pursuant to the Lands Ordinance (Acquisition for Public Purposes), 1943.

Within the framework of the planning procedures that the firm accompanies, Peleg regularly appears before the various planning institutions to accompany plans and building permits on behalf of various entrepreneurs and to represent objectors, including appearing before the various appellate committees in planning and licensing matters.

Peleg regularly accompanies many projects in the construction field, with an emphasis on planning and land expropriation by the authorities, and his clients include the largest infrastructure companies in Israel – Netivei Israel, Israel Railways, Metropolitan Mass Transit System Ltd., Netivei Ayalon, Trans-Israel Highway, Israel Natural Gas Lines Ltd. and more.

Likewise, Peleg accompanies entrepreneurs in the field of municipal construction in the aspect of planning and zoning, including in matters of Master Zoning Plan 38, urban renewal, changes in designation, unification and parcelization plans, and more.

As counsel who represents clients on opposing sides (entrepreneurs and objectors), and as legal advisor both in the field of ongoing consultation and litigation, Peleg has a broad understanding of the planning and zoning procedures and land rights, an understanding that enables him a the bird’s view of relevant proceedings.

In addition to his legal activities, Peleg is responsible for recruiting interns for the office and volunteers in a number of community nonprofits.

Peleg received his LL.B. and a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in governance from the Reichman University.

In addition, Peleg has a master’s degree (M.A.) in Public Policy and another M.A. in Middle Eastern History from Tel Aviv University.

Peleg was admitted to the Bar in 2006.
