Within the framework of planning procedures that the firm accompanies, Galit appears in various planning institutions to accompany plans and building permits on behalf of various entrepreneurs and to represent objectors, including appearance in the various appellate committees in planning and licensing matters.
Galit specializes in representations in the field of claims for a decrease in value as a result of approval of plans (claims pursuant to Section 197 of the Planning and Building Law -1965) and in matters involving the Land Betterment Tax, including representation before the Appellate Committees for Compensation and Land Betterment Tax.
In addition, Galit represents expropriating entities in the Exceptions Committee that was established pursuant to the Lands Ordinance (Acquisition for Public Purposes), 1943.
Galit accompanies many projects in the construction field, with an emphasis on planning and land expropriation by the authorities. Among her clients are the largest infrastructure companies in Israel, including Netivei Israel, Israel Railways, Metropolitan Mass Transit System Ltd., Netivei Ayalon, and Trans-Israel Highway.
Likewise, Galit accompanies entrepreneurs in the field of municipal construction in the aspect of planning and zoning, including in matters of Master Zoning Plan 38, urban renewal, changes in designation, unification and parcellization plans, and more.
Galit acquired over the years vast experience in representing clients on opposing sides (both entrepreneurs and objectors), and as a legal advisor both in the field of ongoing consultation and litigation, Galit has a broad understanding of the planning and zoning procedures and land rights, that enables her to provide creative solutions in various aspects.
