Shiran Seligmann is a partner in the Jerusalem Branch, and she practices in the fields of torts, insurance, litigation and cooperative societies. She has some ten years of experience appearing in the various courts throughout Israel.
In the tort and insurance field, Shiran represents some of the leading companies in the market, including Harel, Menora, Shirbit and Clal, and she has a string of substantial achievements in this field.
Shiran has rich experience in the field, in representing both defendants and plaintiffs in a variety of tort aspects, including bodily injury and property damages, medical and professional malpractice, occupational accidents, local authority and council liability, traffic accidents, claims in the National Insurance Institute, and more. Likewise, Shiran specializes in construction defects in residential projects of various sizes.
Shiran’s experience in representing entities on both sides of the aisle constitutes a big advantage, in light of her deep familiarity with insurance entities and policy types, something that permits her to bring the claims to a conclusion in the best and most efficient manner.
Shiran also represents in the field of cooperative societies throughout Israel, and handles a plethora of legal issues that arise during the course of the life of a cooperative society and its members. In addition to all these, in recent years, Shiran developed a practice in family law in our firm, and she manages mediations and drafts many agreements, while all the time diligently striving for an extra-judicial solution.
Shiran’s knowledge in these two areas allows her to engage in the niche of representing family cases within cooperative societies (kibbutzim and moshavim). We are speaking about cases that require a unique understanding, primarily in light of the substantial financial consequences of these cases.
